Paywast sponsored Sound Central Festival 2013 in Kabul

The 4 day Sound Central Festival 2013, held in Esteqlal Lycee auditorium in Kabul, was by all accounts a huge success. Sound Central is the Central Asia’s most modern music festival and the only regional musical event celebrated in Kabul. Thousands of people attended the festival which showcased the performances of more than 30 bands and the work of 20 performing artists coming from the US, UK, Australia, France, Poland and Uzbekistan. The Women’s Only Day alone attracted hundreds of female music lovers from women organizations, school girls, girls’ scouts, women shelters and others from all backgrounds, political affiliations and ethnic diversities.

Sound Central festival 2013 was the most widely covered entertainment event in Kabul. All major international and local media organizations provided coverage to the 4 day event with Paywast, a major sponsor and supporter of the Festival, playing a key role in spreading the word and connecting the Festival with people across the globe.

During the Festival, Paywast broadcast the concert live to viewers around the world through the Sound Central’s website. Plus, Paywast displayed viewers’ comments and feedback about each performing artist’s songs via Paywast Live SMS feeds. Simultaneously, viewers’ comments were displayed in a large board inside the concert hall.

In recent years, Paywast has sponsored a series of cultural, musical and entertainment performances, sporting events, educational programs, enlightening social intellectual forums and thought provoking discussion panels.
