Paywast Participated in the First International ICT Conference and Exhibition in Kabul

Information and communications technology (ICT) is one of the essential tools for socio-economic development. In the past years, ICT has provided Afghan society with a great variety of new communication technologies. ICT has been recognized and promoted by many international organizations such as United Nations and the World Bank.

Recently the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of Afghanistan, MCIT, stepped up to promote ICT.  MCIT organized the first International ICT Conference and Exhibition on September 24-26, 2013 at the Civil Service Institute of Afghanistan in Kabul.  The theme was “Strengthening Regional Cooperation for ICT Development” with exhibitions discussing topics such as economic and social development, cyber security and software engineering.

Paywast was one of the most active participants in the convention by providing the live streaming to enable Afghans abroad to see the event online. Paywast also had a booth set up in the exhibition to display many solutions that is offered such as Payam, PayAd, PayLive, PayApp, PayRate and PayGov.
