In accordance with a contract that was signed between Paywast and Gorbat TV and Radio on October 18th, 2012, the network will be enabled to use Paywast Live services to receive direct feedback from its radio listeners during interactive live radio shows, especially cricket shows.
Gorbat radio airs important cultural and scientific programs that aim at educating listeners in disasters risk reduction, children and women’s rights, peace and reconciliation, democracy, accountability, gender mainstreaming, equality, human rights and other important national and international issues. Currently, Gorbat Radio broadcasts in 10 provinces of Afghanistan on 107.7 FM and globally through its website. Gorbat TV broadcasts in Kabul city through cable networks and plans to expand its broadcasts via satellite and local frequencies. With Paywast live, the radio’s entertainment programs and sporting events would get more excitement with listeners’ live interaction. Through the network, cricket players in particular will be able to listen to people’s judgment on their performances.
